Marton House - A Perfect Wedding Venue in Cumbria

Marton House lends itself beautifully to hosting the most special day in your life - your Wedding Day. We can arrange as much or as little as you wish within the ambience of our gracious and extensive grounds. We are licensed and approved for Civil Ceremonies by the local authorities, so you can host your wedding ceremony as well as your wedding reception at Marton House if you wish to do so. We will happily cater for parties of between 6 and 200 people. We also have exceptional Bed and Breakfast facilities here for a small number of guests. If you choose us for your wedding venue, please be assured that you will have the whole of Marton House to yourselves for your celebrations - we do not run B&B during weddings, other than for guests of the wedding party.

Civil Ceremonies in Cumbria

As mentioned above, Marton House is licensed for Civil Ceremonies, which means that in addition to weddings, we can host Wedding Vow Renewal Ceremony celebrations and also Baby Naming Ceremonies. We are very flexible and will cater for as few as 6 or as many as 200 within the house and grounds. Please contact us for further information.

Short Breaks - a relaxing weekend...or Special Celebrations!

We can accommodate up to 3 couples for a Country House weekend (or weekdays if preferred). Our aim is to give you a relaxing time away from the strain and stresses of your everyday lifestyle!

We would suggest for example you arrive Friday evening for a casual supper, then after a hearty breakfast you enjoy the many varied activities in the area, to return that evening in time for Dinner. Breakfast Sunday Morning before departure.

Cost for a two night stay: £120.00 p.p. (based on six people staying).


DEPOSITS
A deposit of £40.00 per room per night will be charged with any reservation - to be paid by cheque - and will be redeemable against another booking if cancelled. Cheques made payable to Mrs CB Knight.
